Jan. 10th, 2020 04:30 amWHO: Contrail, Jane, Gully, Loft, Astrada, Cantilever
WHERE: Fort Scyk, Cybertron
WHEN: Following this comm exchange
WHAT: Contrail invites Jane to go exploring some old ruins. Adventure ensues.
WARNINGS: TBD
---
Contrail and the others were already assembled when Jane arrived at 0900, hanging around the remains of a plaza that was ringed with broken buildings. This far out of the city center, the construction crews hadn't yet started to rebuild the sector, and even the clean up crews hadn't done more than a cursory pass through the streets.
Including Contrail, there were five Vehicons total. Three of the others has the same frame type as he did, dark purple and black and angular, so much so that they all looked nearly identical, though one seemed slightly heavier built and marginally taller than the other three. The fifth Vehicons was the much rarer Eradicon frame type, silver and with a more aggressive wing structure. These, it was common knowledge by this point, had been Starscream's personal armada from the Nemesis, although few of them had survived the final battle against the Autobots. All of them stopped what they were doing to watch Jane land her ship.
Contrail broke away from the group when she approached, arm lifting in a wave. "Good morning!" he greeted. "Let me introduce you to everyone."
He waved his hands to gather everyone's attention and began the introductions. Feeling more confident around Jane than he had been when they first met, Contrail forwent their legal alphanumeric designations and only used their chosen names. "This is Gully and this is Loft," he began, indicating the first two fliers who were exactly identical. Only when they both chimed their respective hellos did it become clear that their voices having unique pitches was about the only difference between them.
The slightly taller and heavier flier was introduced as Astrada, and when only a wordless nod was offered to Jane, Contrail gave Astrada's arm an encouraging pat until the taller one relented. "Nice to meet you," Astrada demurred, her voice decidedly female, if a little on the deep side.
Finally, Contrail clapped the Eradicon on the shoulder with a friendly grin. "And this is Cantilever, my housemate I told you about. Everyone, meet Jane."
